Policies & Standards

The RBVG is a self-managed garden governed by a member-elected Executive Board, Bylaws, and Policies & Standards. Our Garden Policies oversee the membership process, member conduct, and plot maintenance. They also help in our ongoing conservation efforts and serve as our contributions to the war on climate change.  Only organic products are used for pest prevention and fertilization. Only rain barrel water is to be used on days following rain. Plot maintenance is essential in our garden, including control of indigenous growth to prevent spreading.

Each member of the RBVG is required to follow the Garden Policies and Standards. A copy of the Policies & Standards and Bylaws can be found in membership packets and on the garden's information board.
